Lancaster and Sons started producing "In an Old World Garden" in the 1930s and production continued by lancasters and Lancaster and Sandland through into the Sandland Ware era. The pattern was last produced in the 1960s and there have been a few Japanese copies made. Unlike the famous yellow "Crinoline Lady", In An Old World Garden was only produced by the Lancasters company.
