This is my original cabinet I had made to hold the Open Salts or as sometimes known- Salt Cellars. Unfortunately it is now chock a block and my collection has spilled into other areas. Salts come in every known type of material. Have lots of History - fun to research  and I thought - would not take up much space. Also when finding about about a particular piece it stirs the desire to collect other things, so I now collect Carnival Glass, A bit of what is know as Mary Gregory Glass, Uranium Glass, Custard Glass etc.  What I do like is having a piece of glass or pottery that is maybe 100 years  or more old, wondering the history of it and in one way knowing that it is being being preserved and looked after for future generations.   Will get around to posting my other bits and pieces in the future.
